Introducing Duke, a delightful Harrier and Plott Hound mix born in August 2023, with a weight of 45.2 lbs. Initially shy, Duke is slowly emerging from his shell, showing notable progress in leash training and has mastered the command to sit and has been crate trained. He relishes an energetic game of fetch and is always quick to beat his brother to the ball. Known for their intelligence, loyalty, and abundant energy, Plott Hound mixes flourish with human interaction and fit well into an active household. They may approach strangers with caution, but they form strong bonds with their owners. Due to their deep loyalty and affection, Plott Hounds make outstanding family companions.
Duke is neutered, fully vaccinated, dewormed, heartworm and flea and tick treated and micro-chipped. $25 rescue adoption fee applies. Additional adoption info

After the application approval, we set up a meet and greet with you, the animal you are wanting to adopt and any pet's you may have in order to see how everyone gets along. If all goes well we finalize the adoption. Our adoption fees vary from animal to animal.
What the adoption fee covers:
* All medical -up to date on vaccinations including Rabies, flea and tick treated, started on heartworm prevention (for dogs and pups over 6 months), spayed or neutered, (for dogs and pups over 6 months) and micro-chipped. In certain cases, some of our rescues require an extensive amount of medical treatment to get them healthy. We will spare no expense when it comes to the health and wellbeing of our animals. Extensive medical costs will never be passed on to the adopting family; but your adoption fee does help us recover some of the costs.
*Supplies you will receive with adoption – leash and collar.
