Alice!
This lovely little lady is Alice. Alice is an approx 6 month old mini aussiedoodle (so adorable mutt squared) and around 15 lbs currently.
Alice was taken from a puppy mill kind of situation when a breed specific rescuer was working with the farmer to finally shut down their breeding after many years and helping to take in several dogs. Alice happened to be one of the last of her bunch left and the rescuer saw her deplorable conditions and how matted she was and offered to take her as well, with nothing in place but a kind heart. She took Alice to her home and started to reach out to rescues she knew to try and find Alice a place.
Alice, although a little shy and timid at first, continues to come out of her shell every day. She loves other dogs and starts to show her playful side with them first. She could be the one and only for a patient home, but she would also love to have a confident canine companion to show her the ropes and teach her about the world.
She will need work with basic manners, housebreaking and leash walking. She is good in a crate and used to sleeping in one at night.
Alice's adoption fee includes age appropriate vaccinations, microchip and spay. She is also up to date on preventatives.
If interested in adopting Alice an application is available at: https://www.dogtownrescue.org/online-adoption-application
An approved application and appointment are required to meet any of our dogs.
