Stella

4-6 months old, lab, dog & cat friendly

Stella is a sweetie! She has come a long way in just a few days! Stella was abandoned in Indianapolis and is learning to trust the world again. She is working on how to walk on a leash and is doing very well.

She's barking less a strange noises and people we see while walking. She is already getting more confident

She loves her foster parents and wants to tag along wherever her humans go. And she loves cuddles! She loves her stuffed animals and chewing bones.
She gets along great with dogs. We encourage Stella to go to a home with at least one other dog to help her on her journey to gain confidence. She takes corrections from other dogs well.

And... she is smart! She knows commands like sit and come already.
She's also pretty close to being house broken!

Additional adoption info

Interested adopter must fill out an application. Once approved a meet and greet is set up at a specific location, the ranch or a local adoption event. If the animal and adopter are compatible, a home visit takes place.
A contract is also signed between the rescue and the adopter
Fees are generally between $250.00-$500.00

The Four Legged Ranch began in 2015. We are a experienced group of rescuers that have come together as a team to change lives of dogs at risk at high kill shelters. We focus on pit bulls and bully breeds, but we are open to help all breeds. Together we are changing their world and adding a new family member to yours.
