Megan is a 4-year-old Lab mix who radiates warmth and affection in every wag of her tail. After being a devoted mom to her seven beautiful puppies, this sweet girl is now ready to embark on her own journey and find a family who will cherish her as much as she deserves.

With her gentle nature, Megan is a perfect fit for families of all shapes and sizes. She’s wonderfully social and has a calm, easygoing demeanor that makes her adaptable to any household. Megan adores people of all ages—she’s fantastic with kids, gets along well with other dogs, and even does great with smaller dogs! Her foster mom says she’s a delight to have around: calm and cozy indoors but playful and happy outdoors, especially when surrounded by her furry friends.

Megan’s ideal day includes plenty of cuddles, leisurely walks, and quality time with her humans. She has a medium energy level that’s balanced between mellow indoor moments and joyful outdoor play, making her an excellent companion whether you love relaxing at home or exploring the outdoors. She loves chew toys and at the end of the day is happy to sleep peacefully all night.

An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
