Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
BEAN is a 9 year old, female pittie mix. She came into the rescue needing help. In her previous home, she was one of a couple of dogs and things had gotten to the point where the younger female and BEAN were not compatible. At her graceful, older age, BEAN was not up for the confrontation and was taking it on the chin.
Her family did the right thing and surrendered her. Our vet patched her up, one last time, and now she's with us in a loving foster home. It's been a month of rehabilitation but the time has come to search for that last, final forever home.
Bean may be a senior but she still has plenty of spark and zest for life. Her health is excellent. She is very easy to have around the house as she'll sleep most of the day, go for a nice walk & sniff outside and be content to call it a day. Inside, she's a snuggle bunny. She is not fond of a crate but we're pleased to add, if left loose, she doesnt get into anything she's not suppose to.
The loves of Bean's life? She enjoys sleeping in the sun, any kind of water (she'll entertain herself for hours) and other friendly, canine companionship. As a matter of fact, despite what she went through, other dogs in the house are a must. She needs someone around all the time. Felines beware!
Additional must haves? Daily scratches under her chin and a soft bed, the softer the better. If you think you're the perfect family for this wonderful, older gal, please submit an application which can be found at www.adoptmebluegrasspetrescue.com. Additional adoption FAQ's can be found there also. Meets will be set with approved applicants. Thank you!
