Meet Spike, Chewy and Princess. These babies came in with their Mom when they were only 3 weeks old. They were found under a tool shed near a local business.
Mom (Honey) and babees were infested with ticks and it took staff over 3 hours to remove them. Other than that, all seemed in good health except Princess. She has a liver shunt and will need to be medication her entire life. The boys are in perfect health, a bit shy at first but are very playful and curious, they love giving kisses, the more outgoing one, Princess, loves to be held. If interested in making one of them a new family member email us for an application.
Chewy and Spike are in the first picture, Princess is the second. As of 11/22/24 only 2 left.

More about this rescue
Our History:
Our organization was established in May of 2000 as a No-kill, 501 (c) (3) non-profit shelter. At that time animals were fostered and adopted out by word of mouth out of a donated space at a local veterinary clinic, staffed completely by volunteers. We outgrew that space quickly and moved into our own location in 2002 becoming a key resource in the community. We are located on IH-10 West in Fair Oaks Ranch, near Boerne, housing only dogs. We have made great improvements through the years and hope to increase the number of animals rescued, increase adoptions, fundraising events, and reach more communities. We provide a temporary shelter, care and rehabilitation to homeless and unwanted dogs until responsible, loving homes can be found. As a no-kill shelter, we want to help reduce the number of animals euthanized each year by educating the public on the importance of proper pet care, animal behavior and overpopulation prevention. All of our dogs are fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before leaving our facility.
We are "Saving lives others have toss away".
