My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SPECIAL DIET REQUIRED

Introducing GINGER, a charming and sweet Bichon Frise/Miniature Poodle Cross who just turned 8 years young and weighs 25 pounds. Ginger is as sweet as they come - typical happy Bichon personality who loves giving and receiving love and affection. She is calm in the home, has great house manners, sleeps in the bed with her foster mom, is housebroken, and does not require crating when her foster parents leave the home. She genuinely loves people and has done great with everyone she's met.

Ginger also enjoys the companionship of other dogs but doesn't play with them too much. She walks nicely on a leash and is just an all around great dog! She seems to be uncomfortable with cats.

Ginger requires a prescription diet to prevent bladder stones; it is imperative that the diet is followed so Ginger won't need another surgery. This dog has been examined by licensed veterinarians, provided inoculations, is spayed, was tested for parasites and diseases, microchipped, and underwent surgery to remove bladder stones. ADOPTION APPLICATIONS ARE AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST AT acaringplace@comcast.net   Our online application is not working properly.

More about this rescue

A Caring Place, is an All Breed Dog Rescue organization that is exclusively foster based (no facility) and is volunteer run. We rescue dogs and puppies from animal control facilities, dog pounds, and other shelters where they are at risk of euthanasia. In addition we take in dogs surrendered by their owners who can or are no longer willing to care for their dog. Each dog this rescue takes in receives all medical care and treatment necessary to be healthy, and then place them into loving temporary homes (foster homes) until adopted. Without our foster care provider's, we could not save these dogs.

FOSTER CARE PROVIDERS are always needed!
