My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Talita
This beautiful girl has been with us for 6 months. She raised a litter of pups and is now looking for her own family.
Talita lived outside on a farm her entire life with little socialization when we rescued her.
She is very timid and will need several visits to feel comfortable with new people. Talita is a dog’s dog! She gets along with all dogs and is a greeter to new dogs coming into the rescue and helps them to be more comfortable. She loves to play and can adjust her play style depending on the situation and her companion(s). She is also good with the cats. Very respectful, no chasing or barking at them.
She is potty trained and crate trained, loves her crate and seems to use it to feel more comfortable in new situation or around new people.
She walks well on leash and loves to hike.
Talita would be best in a home with another dog or dogs, as she likes the company of another canine and is very playful.
She has shown zero aggression to anyone but we want her to feel comfortable in her new home so we are looking for a home with children over 8 years old. Young kids can be scary for shy dogs.
She is a wonderful traveler and companion. If you have patience and understanding and want to meet Talita, please reach out to us.
