My name is Benjamin!

Benjamin is approximately a year old and was found stray, with another shar-pei (meaning he is dog friendly!). Pei People bailed him out if the shelter, and now he would like to find a forever home. Benjamin has a silky soft coat, is friendly, is on the smaller side at 43 pounds, and is neutered, microchipped and up to date in vaccines. He had entropion surgery in mid-September on one eye. Benjamin rides well in a car (you will have to lift him in or teach him to jump in as cars are new to him), and is working on learning commands, and is good on a leash. (He is very quick to do his business so easy to take out for walks.) Benjamin's foster reports he is super sweet, loves to give kisses and love his hugs, is playful, loves his toy (no hard ones), doesn't destroy toys, though likes to grab and chew on shoes, slippers, even clothing (he was able to pull clothes through the holes in a laundry basket) and easy grabs the ones that are on the floor. (He is your motivation to pick up your clothes!) When his fosters leave the home, he does well left on his own, fully potty-trained and he is not destructive at all.
