My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Melo’s a 5yo 15lb Bichon mix. He’s house and crate trained. He’d be good in a secure fenced yard and/or going for harness leashed walks. He likes being with his person and can guard his person from others so will need a strong leader who can correct him which he does follow when given. He shows signs when bothered so people need to be observant.

Melo’s foster requires a calm adult only home with no kids or who visit often (he’ll need to be put in another room when they do) and if dogs need to be older, calm and keep to themselves along with people who are on board to show leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far.
