My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

With a heart full of love and an infectious spirit, Sheriff is the perfect companion for anyone looking to brighten their days. This delightful boy has a special fondness for other dogs and is always excited to join in on fun and playtime. He would thrive with a smart, dog-friendly cat, as he’s quite curious about our feline friends. If you have another furry member at home, Sheriff will seamlessly fit in!

One of Sheriff’s favorite pastimes is playing with toys. Whether it’s a squeaky ball, a plush companion, or a tug rope, he’s always ready for some engaging playtime. As the seasons change, Sheriff is eager to join you in all your fall activities—whether it’s exploring the colorful leaves on a walk, carving pumpkins, or watching a spooky movie.

Sheriff is more than just a playful pup; he’s also a devoted “velcro dog,” loving to stay close to his humans. He flourishes on companionship and will happily shadow you from room to room, always eager for your affection and attention.

With his playful spirit, love for toys, and sweet personality, Sheriff is bound to bring endless joy and laughter to your home. Don’t miss your chance to adopt this lovable pup and give him the happy life he truly deserves!

Happy Feet Pet Rescue, located in Lansing, MI, operates as a foster-based rescue, providing our animals with home environments for their well-being. We are dedicated to carefully matching each rescue animal with the most suitable homes. Our adoption process includes an initial adoption phone interview, reference checks, vet checks, a thorough application review, and opportunities for meet and greets.

Please note that we have a policy of not adopting dogs expected to exceed 50lbs to individuals living in apartment or condo settings. We are firmly against declawing cats and only endorse adopting our feline friends as indoor cats.

If you're interested in meeting one of our wonderful pets, we kindly ask you to complete an adoption application. Alternatively, you can explore the rewarding experience of becoming a dog or cat foster parent. This provides an excellent opportunity to interact with various personalities and animals before committing to a long-term relationship.

For comprehensive information and access to all our adoption applications, please visit our website at www.happyfeetpetrescue.com. We look forward to helping you find your perfect furry companion! **We do not respond to the Pet-finder Inquiry emails. **
