My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Meet Sheriff: Your Future Best Friend! **

Sheriff is an adorable, spirited puppy looking for a loving forever home! This playful guy is always ready to play, especially when it involves his favorite toys—bones and ropes! If you have a playful dog friend, Sheriff is ready to make lifelong memories filled with fun and games. Sheriff does well with dog-savvy cats, making him a great addition to a multi-pet household. After tearing through the yard or chasing down a squeaky toy, Sheriff can't resist the lure of a cozy couch snuggle. He loves curling up with his humans for some quality cuddle time!

At night, you can find Sheriff snuggled up in his own bed, peacefully dreaming about his next day of play. He does well when left alone in his crate during the day, giving you peace of mind when you need to be out and about. Occasionally, Sheriff does require a pain pill as he grows, but don't worry, he will stop growing eventually!

Sheriff is currently learning how to meet new people and is looking for patient and loving adopters who can help him build his confidence. If you’re ready for a playful and affectionate companion, Sheriff will be there to bring joy and love into your life. Apply on our website to meet him—he can't wait to become part of your family!

Happy Feet Pet Rescue, located in Lansing, MI, operates as a foster-based rescue, providing our animals with home environments for their well-being. We are dedicated to carefully matching each rescue animal with the most suitable homes. Our adoption process includes an initial adoption phone interview, reference checks, vet checks, a thorough application review, and opportunities for meet and greets.

Please note that we have a policy of not adopting dogs expected to exceed 50lbs to individuals living in apartment or condo settings. We are firmly against declawing cats and only endorse adopting our feline friends as indoor cats.

If you're interested in meeting one of our wonderful pets, we kindly ask you to complete an adoption application. Alternatively, you can explore the rewarding experience of becoming a dog or cat foster parent. This provides an excellent opportunity to interact with various personalities and animals before committing to a long-term relationship.

For comprehensive information and access to all our adoption applications, please visit our website at www.happyfeetpetrescue.com. We look forward to helping you find your perfect furry companion! **We do not respond to the Pet-finder Inquiry emails. **
