My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Violet is a sweet and affectionate female pitbull who's ready to find her forever home! This beautiful girl has a medium to high energy level, making her the perfect companion for both playtime and snuggle time. Whether it's going for long walks, playing with her toys, or just relaxing at your feet, Violet is happy to be by your side.

She's a social butterfly who absolutely loves people and other dogs, making her a great addition to a home with other pets or one that enjoys hosting guests. Violet is also a quick learner and a great listener-she's always eager to please and picks up commands easily, especially when there's a treat involved!

This smart girl would thrive in a home where she can get plenty of love, exercise, and mental stimulation. Violet's ideal family is one that can match her enthusiasm for life and give her the attention and training she craves.

If you're looking for a loyal, intelligent, and loving dog to complete your family, Violet is the one for you!

Come meet Violet and see if she's the perfect fit for your home!

More about this rescue

Paws For Life K9 Rescue pulls its dogs from city and county shelters. Often, we choose dogs in need of socialization and training which we place with our incarcerated trainers throughout California State Prisons.
We do this because they can dedicate all of their time to their rehabilitation. After several months of training, our dogs are ready for family life after completing their AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification. Some are trained to become service animals for military veterans with PTSD. By lowering euthanasia rates and preparing dogs for service-jobs, PFL is proving that everyone deserves a second chance.
