Best Match:
Seeking an adopter with some experience
Will be most comfortable in a quiet home with adult guardians (calm/quiet kids over 12 may be ok)
Prefers to be in a home without dogs
Bonded pair
May be okay with other cats (would need careful matchmaking & slow introductions)
Needs to be indoor only
Mars and Pluto are the very best of friends. They do everything together! They spend the day playing and wrestling together. They groom each other. They eat, sleep, and they’re even happy to share a food bowl, a comfy bed, their favorite spots, and your attention. The only thing they don’t love sharing is treats!
It can take a little while for Mars and Pluto to trust new people, and the pair might hide while they’re getting used to new surroundings. Over time, you’ll see them blossom. Brown tabby Mars, with his round cheeks, expressive eyes, and adorable ear tufts will sometimes roll on the floor to greet his fosters now that he’s gotten comfortable. He even approaches them for pets and head bumps. Sleek orange tabby boy Pluto can be a little more shy, but his confidence has been growing by leaps and bounds, and he now enjoys an occasional nap on his foster’s lap.
Mars and Pluto are looking for a quiet home with someone who has the patience to let them adjust and explore at their own pace. Earning their trust may take some time, but it is so worth it. And the great thing is, they’ll be there to love and support each other every step of the way.
Mars and Pluto are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. If you are interested in setting up a meeting or have more questions, please complete our Adoption Inquiry form !
