My name is Baxter!

We are sadly looking to rehome our sweet dog, Baxter. He was found on the streets by some friends who did not have the resources to care for him, so we took him in. Baxter is a 1.5-year-old miniature poodle chihuahua mix weighing 26 lbs. He is full of energy, loves to play, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs and children. He brings so much joy everywhere he goes and is an easy eater (except he can't have poultry). Unfortunately, Baxter and our other dog aren't getting along, which has created some tension at home. We believe Baxter would thrive in a home where he can be the center of attention or have a more compatible canine companion. Baxter does have seasonal allergies, which mostly causes some discomfort to his paws, but otherwise, he’s the easiest dog to care for. He’s full of love, and we’re hoping to find him a new home where he can continue to spread his joy.
