My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kisses is the cutest and most loving pup! She is crate-trained, potty-trained and is bilingual (English & Spanish)! She knows various commands; such as sit, down, paw, stay, go, abajo (get down), corre (run) and vamos (let`s go). Kisses loves going on walks and is very good at keeping up the pace; however, she does love humans, so she will make sure to greet every one on sight. She is very energetic, enjoys playing fetch inside the house and takes naps in every spot she can find. She loves cuddles, head scratches, butt scratches and belly rubs. She would be the perfect companion for a person or family with a active lifestyle.

The process is quite simple! Please stop by and see for yourself. All animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to going home.

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit open intake shelter that serves all of East Baton Rouge parish. We strive to improve the lives of abandoned, unwanted and abused animals in our parish. We house approximately 400 animals at any given time. We take in 20-30 new animals a day. We are always in need of fosters both short and long term, donations, and volunteers.
