Zoey Hilton was entrusted to our care through the Final Wish Program after her mom passed away. She is 13 years old, weighs 18 lbs., and is a very sweet and gentle girl.
After becoming a Frosted Face, Zoey had surgery to remove her blind right eye, which unfortunately didn't respond to treatment to reduce the constant pressure and pain she was experiencing. On the same day, she also had a dental and 9 teeth extracted. Zoey feels so much better without her painful eye and unhealthy teeth. She is getting around just fine (see video) with her one healthy eye and has a new lease on life!
Fortunately, Zoey has been on an extended Frosted Fling, so she has been receiving extra TLC in the comforts of a home before and after surgery. Here is the latest update from her Fling Mom:
"Zoey Hilton has really let her personality shine through! She has some good energy, has become playful and it's is fun to see her enjoying herself. As you can see in the video, she even gets the zoomies sometimes!
Zoey is not a cuddler, but you can bet she'll be laying close by to wherever you are. She is great in the car and enjoys walks. Zoey has not barked once in the six weeks she's been here.
Here's what else I've learned about her:
* Fine when left home alone - has no separation anxiety
* Walks well on a leash
* Sleeps through the night
* Will pace by the door if she needs to go out
* Enjoys pets, and you can pick her up with no issue
* An all-around good girl, no biting or growling even if one of my dogs get snippy with her
Zoey is ready to find a forever home, where she can hang out with her person, go for walks and car rides, and know she is safe and loved!"
