Meet Qtip, a sweet white and black cat with a heart nose! What’s not to love!? I wear my heart on my “sleeve.”
Rescued from a disappearing stray cat colony, I can be a tad shy at first, but will soon be rubbing against you like a Qtip, soaking up cuddles and even meowing for attention. Even though cautious, my fear melts away once I feel safe and loved. I enjoy playing and "swabbing" of course, my little head and body against your side for pets and snuggles. I get along with other cats and dogs, so I would do well in a house with both! Patience is key with me, but I promise you it will be worth your time. I will fill your life with nose hearts and kisses! 🖤🐾

Additional adoption info
All of our pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and given a flea preventative before they are available for adoption. Cats and kittens are also tested for feline leukemia (FELV) and the feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and must be negative to enter the adoption program.
Our adoption fee of $125 for adult cats and kittens covers only a small fraction of the cost of rescuing, rehabilitating, and housing these homeless animals. Donations help us to provide veterinary care, medicine, vaccinations, food, kitty litter, and other supplies, so that the only limit on our foster caregivers is the size of their homes – not the size of their pocketbooks.

Adoptions at the Houston S. Shepard PetSmart only take place between 11.30am-4.00pm on Saturdays and Sundays. The Petco location in Houston is a cattery where the cats can be viewed any time the store is open.

We are a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to rescuing, fostering and finding permanent loving homes for as many abandoned, homeless, and stray animals as we can. Texas has comparitively higher number of homeless pets than other US States.
Most of our pets live in foster homes before they are available for adoption to ensure they are healthy, socialized, and ready to become a part of your family. All of our pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and given a flea preventative before they are available for adoption.
