My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This guy is truly a special soul. He has a heart full of love and a mind full of smarts. Despite his independence, he is also a very loyal companion and will always be by your side whenever you need him.

Activity level: Scotty is very independent and mellow overall. He enjoys being outside and is always willing to go for a walk around the neighborhood! While toys may not be his thing, he thrives on exploring the world around him. He loves the freedom of both indoor and outdoor access. He is typically quiet, but will occasionally alert you of guests at the house.

Training: Scotty has mastered the art of potty training. He is also well trained on a leash. In fact, he gets very excited when he sees his leash because he knows it means walk time! He is a great learner/listener and is doing well with basic commands.

Social: Scotty loves to meet new fur friends and people! He is gentle and friendly to everyone he meets. He will do well in a home by himself or with another mellow dog. However, he is not a fan of cats, so a home without feline friends would be ideal for him.

He will thrive in a home with someone who can appreciate his calm temperament and shares his love for outdoor adventures. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will keep you on your toes, Scotty is your guy.

More about this rescue

OC Pom Rescue is founded on the principles of giving voice to the voiceless, by educating the public on the sentient nature of the dogs that become family members. Our purpose is to rescue and rehabilitate the lives of those that give unconditional love. This group functions off of volunteer support and educating those around us about the cheerful disposition of Pomeranians and other small breeds.

OC Pom Rescue hopes to make the dog adoption process enjoyable and rewarding for first-time and repeat dog owners alike. We work diligently to match our applicants with the right rescue dogs for their home, lifestyle, and needs. We also strive to promote awareness and education about the Pomeranian breed and its characteristics, needs, and traits.
