My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

When I first met my foster mom, I was so shy and scared to go home with her, but the minute I met my furry foster brother and sister, I knew I was going to be just fine.

I’m only a year old with lots of puppy energy, but I’m constantly told I’m a “such a good boy!” I only chew on my own doggy bones and toys. I’m potty trained and always let my foster parents know when I need to go outside. I sleep through the night and love cuddling up with my foster mom in bed. I’ve been great with people of all ages from toddlers to the elderly. I love playing with other dogs and would be best in a home with other dogs that can keep me company and can play with me. I wouldn’t want to be left home alone as an only dog, I’m too social to be an only dog.

My foster mom gave me a bath, and I loved it! Afterwards, she kept talking about how silky and soft my hair is. It’s not even fully grown in yet, just imagine how pretty it will be when all my adult fur has grown in!

I’m also great on walks and would like at least two walks a day to help me get my puppy energy out.

I’m not all energy though, I like long afternoon naps, cozy cuddles while sitting next to you, and a good eight hours of sleep every night.

Knowing that I’m “such a good boy,” I’m looking for “such a good family” to love and live the rest of my life with. Are you that family?

More about this rescue

OC Pom Rescue is founded on the principles of giving voice to the voiceless, by educating the public on the sentient nature of the dogs that become family members. Our purpose is to rescue and rehabilitate the lives of those that give unconditional love. This group functions off of volunteer support and educating those around us about the cheerful disposition of Pomeranians and other small breeds.

OC Pom Rescue hopes to make the dog adoption process enjoyable and rewarding for first-time and repeat dog owners alike. We work diligently to match our applicants with the right rescue dogs for their home, lifestyle, and needs. We also strive to promote awareness and education about the Pomeranian breed and its characteristics, needs, and traits.
