My name is Rusty!

Hi! I'm Rusty! I'm an approximately 2 year old, male, Hound mix who weighs about 45 lbs. I was found off St. Mary's Street in Rockwall on 08/29/2024 and never reclaimed. I am an affectionate guy who loves to play and spend time with my people. I have not yet been introduced to another dog, but I don't mind when they come to say hello at my kennel door! If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. My adoption fee is $125. I am neutered, current on my rabies vaccination, basic boosters, microchipped, and heartworm negative! IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
