Howdy! I'm Cowboy, the most pawsome buckaroo of the canine world. I'm a 2yr old fella coming in at around 70lbs. A great family addition that is housebroken, sweet, mellow and super affectionate!
If you're looking for a companion who's smart, loyal, and always ready for a good time, then look no further. But just remember, I'm still a youngster, so we can share a few more adventures before we take a nap! But I am kinda a laid back fella so you can bet your (or my) saddle, I'll be right beside you taking that snooze too!!
I do great with people and other doggies but I will need a home without any cats. Sorry cat lovers out there, I'm just not a big fan.

Hay Dude Equine Rescue, in Boerne, TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs, are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each pup comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, microchipped, heartworm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.

(3) educate the public on proper horse care and husbandry
(4) offer assistance to equine owners in times of natural or personal disaster
(5) rehabilitate neglected and abused equines
(6) accept donations of rehomeable equines for adoption and placement
(7) adopt equines into thoroughly vetted homes
