My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

NAME: Stewart

BREED: Chihuahua/Terrier blend

AGE: 14 weeks

WEIGHT: 4 pounds

LIKES: belly rubs, running around outside

DISLIKES: quick movements

PERSONALITY TRAITS: Stewart is a fun loving puppy that loves running around the back yard with the other dogs in his foster home. He is great with kids and new people, though he can be a little timid at first meeting.

POTTY TRAINING STATUS: A work in progress. Doing well going outside, with reminders, and uses potty pads.

CRATE TRAINING STATUS: He uses an x-pen, when unsupervised, and also for bedtime.

EXTRAS/MISC.: He is very sweet and, after playing hard, will either cuddle up on his bed or join you on the couch to snuggle.

Additional adoption info

The process for adoption through our rescue begins with the adoption application. Once accepted, a meet and greet with the dogs is arranged and includes everyone in the family including other pets. If the dog seems like a good fit, he/she is brought to the home where the dog will be living to make sure it is an appropriate home....ie. dog friendly, fenced yard, etc. Finally, an adoption agreement is signed to insure that the adopter understands what is expected of them.

Go meet their pets

All our dogs are in foster homes prior to finding their forever homes. Please contact us if you see a dog you'd like to meet. We also participate in adoption events at local pet stores.
