My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you searching for a large orange, marmalade kitty?

One that has white socks and would enjoy sitting in your lap?

A kitty that has a magnificent purr to share with you?

Well, let me introduce myself, I am the kitty you need, my name is Rusty.

I am approximately 1 to 1.5 years old, very easy going, chill, relaxed guy who gets along with every person I meet. Ginger tabbies tend to be large and I am. I am around 12 + pounds and may grow to be a bit larger.

I do play with cat nip toys and kitty toy balls but my favorite thing to do each day is to sit in your lap or next to you getting rubbies please.

I do get the zoommies. I am told I look hilarious, a large kitten running around the house.

I will follow you like a doggie because I adore my people. How does that sound?

Did you know that orange male ginger kitties bonded tightly with their people?

We do, we want to be part of your family and we feel you are part of our family. We tend to read you emotions. If you are having a bad day, we will want to comfort you.

I am neutered, vaccines are current, no bad habits and micro-chipped, which is an added perk adopting from Snow Camp! I have one rule, my tummy is off-limits.

Please request an adoption application, by clicking the request information button, or text the adoption coordinators, Bev @ 262-894-5975 or Carrie @ 801-550-9231. If you would like to see all the kitties, from adults to kittens available at Snow Camp, click this link, https://snowcamp.rescueme.org/.

The rescue offers a 2-week adoption trial. If you feel I am not a good fit for you, the rescue will take me back.
A no risk adoption!

My adoption fee is $150. The rescue is running a Labor Day Special, take $250 off if you fill out an application by 9/10/24.

Let's plan a date to hang out forever, ok....purr with you soon..... signed Rusty.

More about this rescue

We rescue kitties from high kill animal shelters and community kitties, take in strays and owner surrendered kitties as we have space available. We provide them love and compassion with private foster homes. All of our beautiful kitties are fully vetted, vaccinated, de-wormed, ears checked for ear mites and cleaned, provided flea medication, as well as microchipped.

We also take in feral kitties, fully vet them and they live their life at our fenced sanctuary with the rescue owner. The kitties are cared for by Karin, a lady with a passion for helping kitties to live their life to the fullest. The sanctuary also takes kitties no one wants like black cats, and the ones no one wants.
