Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucy is a spayed female black cat, born in August 2022. She's independent, but she will come around for attention for a short period of time. And if you're sitting down, she will come over and sit with you. I know that she will become more affectionate if she has more attention than the amount of time I'm only able to spend. They all slept on my dad when he was there with them and are very personal. The adoption fee is $25. This covers the cost of spay/neuter, PVR, Rabies, flea, tick, ear mite and worm treatment. Rutherford County Humane Society is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that has been serving Rutherford County since 1979, with the mission to significantly improve the lives of unwanted and neglected animals, and to measurably decrease this number through our spay and neuter programs, volunteer foster homes, and outreach and education. We are an independent organization that works in collaboration with other area animal advocacy groups. All of our efforts depend on our passionately compassionate volunteers, and financial support from the community. We have made the decision to use our resources to continue promoting the number one solution to our pet overpopulation problem - and that is spay/neuter.
