My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Boulder
Domestic Shorthair, Born in October 2023, Brown Tabby, Neutered male

Hi, I’m Boulder, a sweet brown tabby on a quest to find my forever home. I might be a bit shy at first—after all, I’ve been through a lot as a former stray and need some time to warm up. But with the help of kind volunteers, I’m getting more comfortable every day and learning to trust. I get along well with other cats and really miss my sister, so having a feline friend would be wonderful.

The volunteers are still getting to know me, so check back soon to learn more as my personality starts to shine.

If you have a cozy spot in your heart and a little patience, I’d love to show you just how loving and gentle I can be! I can’t wait to see if we’re a perfect match!

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
