My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kristofferson-the sweetest and most handsome baby that has such a gentle soul. Though he may be a bit shy at first, Kristofferson quickly melts your heart with his affectionate nature.

While he doesn't love being picked up, he does love to be held close and will reward you with the softest purrs as you pet him or cuddle him. This little guy absolutely adores sitting on the couch with his people and asking for belly rubs and will even talk to you in the cutest meow when he's being pampered. He loves soaking up all the pets and attention he can get.

Kristofferson's favorite pastime is running fast with his siblings and chasing a feather wand toy, showing off his playful side once he feels comfortable. Kristofferson is used to a busy household and while he will sometimes get spooked by fast movement or loud noises, his fear is short-lived and goes right back to what he was doing. He also doesn't mind big dogs or adult cats.

Because of his shy demeanor, Kristofferson would thrive best in a home with older children and adults, and where he can be adopted with his littermate, Ash. The are a bonded pair-the best of friends who do everything together.

With the right family, Kristofferson is sure to blossom into a loving and devoted companion, ready to fill your home with warmth, purrs, and cozy couch time. Are you ready to give sweet little guy and his brother Ash a forever home?

More about this rescue

At Oakbrook Cat Rescue, we are a dedicated team of passionate volunteers united by our love for cats. As a no-kill rescue group, we provide a safe haven for both kittens and adult cats, ensuring they thrive in loving foster homes instead of cages. Our mission is to shower every feline in our care with compassion while offering essential services such as spaying, neutering, vaccinating, microchipping, and conducting FIV/FeLV combo tests.

We believe that every cat, whether a playful kitten or a wise old soul, deserves a second chance at happiness. In addition to caring for our adoptable cats, we support our community by assisting with the needs of feral and community cats whenever we can, helping to provide care and resources for local colonies.

From the most affectionate to the shyest, Oakbrook Cat Rescue is devoted to finding each of them a forever home filled with love. Together, we strive to make a difference—one paw at a time.
