Howdy! My name is Anuel, and I'm a 2 year old Yorkshire Terrier. I'm looking for my pawfect forever home and I’m hoping you can help me find my best match!

You know how we little dogs are called "yappers"? Well, I'm proud to tell you I'm not like that! I'll let you know when I think there is an issue, but when you tell me that's enough, then that's it. I don't have to stay in a kennel right now but I know what that is and if I get to have a couple of toys and a soft bed to sleep on I don't mind it so much.

I haven’t really figured out yet how to let someone know when I need to go outside, but I think I could master this quickly. I will use puppy pads where it's ok to potty and I'm learning how to use the doggie door in my foster home. I enjoy being outside in a fenced yard, but I'm a little embarrassed to admit I sometimes choose to ignore when I hear my name, so having that fence sure makes it easier on my humans. I'm also getting practice walking with walking on a leash and it's not so bad.

At meal time I prefer to dine alone, so I'm looking for a small cafe where I don't have to worry about sharing. I really like the 6 year old boy I live with now; we have lots of fun playing catch together! I like playing with the other small dogs too. We have plenty of room to run when we get the zoomies! I love to play with toys and sometimes I will bring them back to the person that threw them. Truthfully, I shouldn't have any cats around. I'm lucky to currently be living with a pretty laid back, big cat, but most cats won't tolerate me harassing them.

I know I'm cute and all, but please help me find my best possible furever person or family. Here is my checklist: no little humans, no big dogs, no cats, my own dining area, and most important, an empty lap. I’m looking forward to meeting some of you human folks soon!
