Hello everyone, Decku here to tell you a little bit about myself. I started life with a wonderful family that had children and two small dogs. unfortunately, my family had a disruption, and I went to live with a wonderful girl who works at Stray Haven. She took me into her home which also had children and a dog along with two young cats. I got along well with the cats, but the dog made me a little nervous as she was bigger than what I was used to. I would love to be an addition to a family that has kids and time to love on me. I am a young man of a year who loves to snuggle and soak up the rays of the sunshine. If you think I would be a good fit for your home, please come to Stray Haven Humane Society to meet me.

Additional adoption info

Stray Haven requires an in-person visit with our adoptable pets and completion of the adoption application. Our standard adoption donation is $225 for adult dogs, $275 for puppies, and $100 for cats, and $120 for kittens. All adoption packages and specials include up-to-date vaccinations, spay/neuter and microchipping.

Stray Haven Humane Society & SPCA is a small private non-profit humane society dedicated to ensuring the protection of animals through education and service. Since 1967, Stray Haven has served Tioga County, NY and neighboring communities, providing shelter and care for homeless animals. Today we continue to offer many services with the generous support of the public, including pet adoptions, spay/neuter programs, dog obedience classes, pet therapy, cruelty investigations, humane education, children’s outreach programs and rewarding volunteer opportunities.
