Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Snickerdoodle, an irresistibly cute mix of German Shepherd and Basset Hound with adorable floppy ears and short, stubby legs. Snickerdoodle came to us from Broward County Animal Care and spent some time in a foster home, where she proved to be a perfect houseguest. Well-behaved and fully potty trained, Snickerdoodle knows basic commands like "sit" and "paw." Snickerdoodle loves her walks and is as silly and energetic as she is cuddly. At around two years old and 60 pounds, she’s a bit on the chunky side and could benefit from shedding a couple pounds to reach her ideal weight. Friendly with other dogs and indifferent to cats, she’s an all-around wonderful, affectionate and well behaved companion. To meet Snickerdoodle, please fill out an adoption application at abandonedpetrescue.orgTo meet this adoptable pet, please fill out an adoption application at www.abandonedpetrescue.org and a team member will contact you to schedule an appointment.

More about this shelter
Abandoned Pet Rescue (APR) is one of the largest no-kill animal shelters in South Florida with the mission of rescuing and sheltering abandoned and abused cats and dogs with the goal of finding them new homes. APR's adoption center has about 150 cats and 30 dogs, all of which receive nutritious meals, veterinary care, enrichment and love.
APR, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded in 1996 by a group of volunteers who were trapping, spaying and neutering feral cats and quickly realized the greater need to help abandoned pets and advocate for a no-kill community. APR is funded solely by generous donors and grants.
