My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*** Blinky is in a foster home. ***

Brown/black/orange torbie, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 5/19/21, #18977

Cats: good w/others or solo ]
Dogs: comfortable
Children: comfortable

Blinky and her siblings were taken in as kittens by a rescue out in the desert of Brawley. One by one, they got adopted... except Blinky! It was very strange... she'd go up to the people coming to visit and adopt cats all the time, patiently waiting her turn, but it never came. Her rescuers never gave up on her and eventually reached out to ask if The Rescue House could take Blinky in since there are more adoption opportunities with the larger population of San Diego.

Blinky is a quiet-natured kitty who is perfect for someone who wants a calm low-maintenance companionable lapcat. This sweetheart loves to cuddle and be petted but she isn't demanding about it. She'll show her appreciation, though! Since she's still a younger cat, Blinky does like to play with assorted toys and has a feline sense of curiosity without going over the top. She has an endearingly gentle spirit.

Blinky is comfortable with other cats and could also be a solo kitty. She has lived with multiple cat-respectful dogs and been fine with children who are nice to her.

How could this darling have been overlooked for so long? Will you give Blinky her lucky break to finally find a loving home?
