Sara is a precious 2 year old snuggle bug who loves to cuddle with her foster human sister (6 year old), and follows her foster mom everywhere.

While she loves playing with her foster doggie brother, what she truly enjoys is going where the family goes. She could spend hours playing outside with the hose, sprinklers, water guns, and bouncy balls, but she’s just as comfortable playing the role of couch potato on your lap.

Sara was found wandering the streets of Houston, TX following hurricane Beryl. She befriended some neighborhood kids and wouldn’t leave their doorstep thereafter. She was emaciated and dehydrated but despite her dire situation, maintained an extremely friendly disposition, and sweetly approached her finders.

Sara loves to go on walks, and is a star at her daycare. She is crate trained and is doing well with her potty training.

Sara is good with dogs, kids, and people, but would do best in a home without cats as she is curious about them. She can be trained with them but needs an experienced and very patient person to do so.

Sara is around 2 years old, about 40 lb, fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. She is heartworm negative, and kept on heartworm and flea preventative.

Sweet Sara is being fostered in Texas, but can travel to any state, and even Canada for the right home.
