Hi, I’m Cersi! I’m an energetic and alert dog who loves to keep a watchful eye on everything around me. With all this energy, I need plenty of space to run around and burn off some steam, and oh boy, do I love to run! I’m sweet and love meeting new people, but I like to take my time to trust you first. Once I feel comfortable, I’ll happily let you pet me! I can be a little protective, so if I don’t know you, I might bark a bit. But don’t worry—once I warm up, I’m all about the cuddles! Water is my favorite! I love splashing around in the pool; it helps me relax after a busy day of playing. I’m easy to handle when it comes to putting on my harness or collar, and bath time? Bring it on! If you’re looking for a playful companion who’s loving and loyal, I’d love to meet you! Let’s see if we can be the perfect match!

To adopt an animal from the Delta Humane Society & SPCA you must fill out an adoption application and contract at our facility. To save time for those who rent or live in apartments please beware that some landlords may require a pet security deposit. This must be taken care of before the adoption.

Adoption Fees:
Puppies: $300.00
Adult Dogs: $175.00
Senior Dogs: $75.00

Kittens: $175.00
Adult Cats: $125.00
Senior Cats: $75.00

These fees include spay/neuter procedure, vet exam, current vaccinations (include rabies), ID tag and collar, microchip.

More about this shelter

The Delta Humane Society & SPCA has been serving the city of Stockton, San Joaquin County and surrounding counties since 1966. We have placed over 30,000 animals into homes since 1966. We provide shelter, medical care and adoption services to abandoned, lost and misplaced pets. Each animal that comes into our shelter is given vaccinations and placed under surveillance until it is determined that the animal is ready to go home with a loving new owner. Every animal has been spayed or neutered before adoption.

Delta Humane Society & SPCA does not engage in the acts of euthanasia of animals, and operates strictly on public donations. We are a private, nonprofit charity, supported by people who care about the welfare of animals.

If you would like to visit Delta Humane Society & SPCA we are located approximately 1/2 mile North of Arch Road, on the East frontage road of Highway 99. Please drop by and see us. The animals are just waiting to find a loving home.
