Meet Phelps! Puppy Phelps came to Chi Town Rescue from a hoarding situation, with his brother Jackson. Phelps is the (slightly) larger of the two, weighing in around 12 pounds. He is just nine-months old, and has his whole life ahead of him; he would love to get started on life with his forever family! Phelps and Jackson were shy when they first came to rescue, but are quickly blossoming. Phelps is a tall guy and has super long limbs (like his namesake!). He uses those long legs to zoom around and PLAY! Phelps is still a bit avoidant of people, but will wiggle up to you, tail wagging, and lick your hands. He is social and playful with other dogs and is learning how to play wrestle and chase toys. Phelps' ideal family will be full of patience and love for a little puppy with a hard start to life. He will need help with potty and leash training, and learning to be the best adult doggy he can be. Phelps' adoption fee includes neuter surgery, microchip, Rabies certificate, and vaccinations up to date. Email us at chitownrescue@gmail.com for more information/meet and greet appointment.
