In the car, Cady’s curiosity gets the best of her—she’s all wiggles and excitement as she explores her surroundings. Though she’s eager and sometimes a bit restless, she settles down with time and patience.
On the leash, Cady does well overall, though she occasionally likes to pause and take in her surroundings. She’s learning the ropes of walking nicely on a leash and is making great progress. We are a non-profit open intake shelter that serves all of East Baton Rouge parish. We strive to improve the lives of abandoned, unwanted and abused animals in our parish. We house approximately 400 animals at any given time. We take in 20-30 new animals a day. We are always in need of fosters both short and long term, donations, and volunteers.
