My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This handsome pup is Cyan, a 3-4 year old, 45 pound Husky mix with gorgeous blue eyes and a stunning silky soft, cream colored coat. Cyan is a very sweet boy who is gentle and loving, having done well with every person he has met. Despite being a husky, he is bot overly energetic; he listens very well, knows some commands, is housebroken and respectful of the home so he doesn't require crating when people leave the home. Cyan previously lived with an 8 year old boy and is very good with kids.

Sadly, Cyan is very uncomfortable with large dogs and cannot be around them BUT he is GREAT with small dogs. He enjoys a good game of chase in the large fenced-in yard with the other dogs in his foster home. as well as tussling around together. In his adoptive home, Cyan would really enjoy the company of a small dog that would match his energy. He needs an adopter who is home more than not because if left alone too long he does get anxious, but equally important, he requires a securely fenced-in yard so he has the opportunity to run around and expel energy.

Cyan is a wonderful dog who deserves a loving, forever family of his own. He has been examined by a licensed veterinarian, been provided inoculations, was tested for diseases, been dewormed, neutered, and microchipped. He is in excellent health. More about this rescue

A Caring Place, is an All Breed Dog Rescue organization that is exclusively foster based (no facility) and is volunteer run. We rescue dogs and puppies from animal control facilities, dog pounds, and other shelters where they are at risk of euthanasia. In addition we take in dogs surrendered by their owners who can or are no longer willing to care for their dog. Each dog this rescue takes in receives all medical care and treatment necessary to be healthy, and then place them into loving temporary homes (foster homes) until adopted. Without our foster care provider's, we could not save these dogs.

FOSTER CARE PROVIDERS are always needed!
