Meet Winnie

ARRF does not have a shelter and all of our animals are in foster homes. To meet Winnie, who is being fostered in the Fletcher Hills, El Cajon area of San Diego, contact her foster, Marissa: marissacamarda6@gmail.com, or call 619-201-9589.

Winnie is a spayed female Shepherd/Chinook mix who is about a year old and weighs 45 lbs. She is housetrained and all of her vaccinations are up to date. Her coloring is light brown.

She is a lovely and sweet girl who just wants to be loved and cherished. Since being rescued from a high-volume kill shelter, she has learned how to play with toys, found that walks are fun and is wonderful on a leash, and loves spending time with her foster’s nine-year-old, 80 lb. dog. She is great with dogs, people, and kids but cats are an unknown as she has not been around any. Winnie has mild separate anxiety and her foster is working with her to help her with this. She is so friendly and sweet and would thrive in any household able to give her lots of love and attention. A home with or without other dogs works for Winnie!
