My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Misty is domestic shorthair grey female who is approximately 2 years old.

Meet Misty, a cat whose personality shines brighter than any star. She's the epitome of sweetness, showering everyone she meets with affection. She's a friend to all, always ready to greet you with a purr. Her curiosity knows no bounds, making her an entertaining companion. Misty is gentle yet brave, navigating the world with a mellow demeanor. Her intelligence is evident in the way she plays, her loyalty unwavering. Misty loves to spend her time playing, cuddling, and scratching her beloved cat tree. This petite lady has a heart full of love to give. By adopting Misty, you're not just getting a pet, you're gaining a loyal friend, a curious explorer, and a loving family member. Give Misty a chance to fill your home with joy and companionship.

Misty came from a terrible situation with over 75 cats. On intake she had lost her eyes due to infection and was suffering from pyometra, a dangerous uterine infection. After having surgery on her eyes and a life saving spay, she is ready to find a loving home.

Misty has an inhaler for a mild asthma noticed during surgery. She takes it every morning and evening with no hesitation. This may not be necessary long-term and her new home can discuss with their veterinarian.

Misty is so sweet and adventurous. She gets around just fine especially with the help of her feline friends. We would love to see her go to a home with other cats to help her out.

Misty is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated for FVRCP and Rabies. She is FIV and FeLV negative. Her adoption fee is $300. To apply, please submit an adoption application.

Additional adoption info

Most of our cats live in foster homes. Some are available to meet at satellite locations such as Pet Valu and Ren's Depot. A few foster homes are available to meet and greets at their home, or we also do meet and greets at request at our shelter prior to adoption. Most of these results in same day adoptions, and only take place after an adoption interview.
