More about this rescue

Paws 2 Freedom, Inc. (P2F) is a small, foster-home based, non-profit, dog rescue organization, dedicated to rescuing dogs from kill shelters and other dangerous situations, with the goal of placing them in caring forever homes. All funds are used for the care, well-being, medical and training needs of the dogs. No individuals receive compensation.
P2F is registered and licensed in the state of PA and is a PA state and an IRS 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. P2F also serves our community by working with local animal control and police officers in abandonment and abuse situations, assisting in owner surrenders, helping reunite lost dogs with their owners, collaborating with Veterans organizations to provide rescued dogs to be trained as Service Dogs for our military veterans in need.
P2F does not discriminate based on dog breed or age. When animals are taken in, they rarely have a medical history, and may also require behavioral training. Rescued dogs are examined and treated by a licensed veterinarian to ensure they are up-to-date on vaccines, receive parasite treatments, and other care or training that may be necessary. All rescued dogs are also spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption.
