Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Carmel is 6# and follows his sister's lead. Not always a great idea since he follows her up the stairs but is scared to come down them. He'll just sit up there and cry until I rescue him. He is very affectionate and calm and is ready to be carried and cuddled any time. He will quickly fall asleep in my arms and nap in the recliner with me.
They both sleep through the night in their pen. At around 7:30AM they start demanding breakfast and to be let out.
They get along fine with other dogs. I have a cranky old Pom who doesn't want to play with them so for the most part they respectfully leave him alone. I think they'd do the same with cats.
They are both precious and have great dispositions. They are small and very much underfoot so they wouldn't be the best fit for an older senior.
Found living and most likely born under a house. Owner thought they might be there, mom never returned, workers were able to rescue them safely. Super cute and sweet, they have adorable little squish faces and underbite. As with all young pups, they need potty training, leash training, crate training and thrive on routine, consistency, patience, time and lots of love!
All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.
