Spruce (and his bro) LOVE being with each other and are learning to love their foster humans just as much! Spruce is being fostered with his brother Ash in N Andover MA with older kids and a resident dog.
Says his foster mom––“Every minute he grows more confident and excited to see me. He is sooooooo playful, if he isn't sleeping he is playing. He loves any toy you give him and if there isn't one he finds something to make one. His brother likes to steal his toys and flaunt them and he holds his own getting them back. He is silly and goofy. He is less interested in human affection than Ash but he will follow Ash to come see me and seek short bouts of attention. Same as his brother - growing in leaps in bounds in the confidence with humans. Very explorative and confident on his own outside!
This little boy is spunky, curious, playful and sweet. He has the most beautiful markings. He learns so quick! Already has the routine down with going in his crate and immediately going outside when he comes out of it. He is sleeping 9pm - 6am with a pee/poop break at midnight. Spruce already knows sit. His favorite thing is toys, all the toys."
Rescue story––Spruce is another side-of-the-road-southern-special and part of a very lucky litter to land in rescue. They were assumably dumped with mom who looks like a Lab + Husky mix (blue eyes, short yellow coat) and she has found an adopter already in the south. She has a wonderful temperment which she has passed along to her babies. She is approx 50-60 pounds and her babies are approx 5 pounds @ 7 weeks old. Because we do not know who the dad is, we can guess that these puppies could just be medium-sized or closer to mom. These puppies will thrive with training, enrichment, and the socialization that all pups need to be good canine citizens.
Should this pup receive an adoption commitment prior to your application being processed, we will share with you the other arriving pups that may be a match for you, some of which are not yet posted online. THIS PUP IS STILL AVAILABLE IF YOU ARE SEEING THIS LISTING––we pull listings down after receiving 2 - 3 viable applications to minimize adopter disappointment. Please do not email, simply submit an application link here www.rescueinc.dog/adopt and we do respond to every application within 48 hours.

All of our pups come with the following:
WE ISOLATE OUR OWN PUPS in our state licensed facility, which means we have eyes on your puppy or dog for the MA mandated 48 hours. During this timeframe, your pups not only see our isolation vet twice but also receive additional rounds of dewormer along with pre + probiotics; transition to Canidae food; additional behavior assessments as they decompress; and so much love and thoughtfulness from our volunteers. Your pups are bathed at intake and again before pick up. All are paired in kennels with littermates or for those that travel alone, we have a rotation of volunteers to visit with them. We provide enrichment throughout the day and meditation music during nap time and through the overnight. We use these 48 hours to ready your pup to transition into a foster or adoptive home and do all that we can to reduce their stress while they are with us.
Ages listed can be approximate and breed mixes are a best guess based on physical characteristics.
