Eleanor is a total sweetheart who was found in a car engine after a long trip. Somehow she survived without even a scratch! She loves to cuddle and make biscuits and is a purr machine. She also really loves to play and needs a young feline playmate. She gets along well with other cats. She is very, very vocal so you must be prepared to be yelled at lol

Our Applications Team will review and approve applications.

Sign Adoption Contract

Once approved and you agree the pet is right for you, sign the contract, pay the adoption fee and take your new family member home!

The Fayette County Humane Society (FCHS), staffed entirely by volunteers, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supported entirely by individual and corporate donations. Because we do not have a shelter, all of the animals we rescue live in temporary foster homes until they are adopted. We believe that all companion pets have intrinsic value and should be treated with the reverence and care they deserve.
