Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there, my name's Hennessy! I came to the shelter as a stray and I am pretty nervous being in this environment. I am looking for a home that ideally has cattle dog / herding breed experience because I can be aloof and weary of new people. I will need patience to fully come out of my shell and be a happier, more social pup. I do ask that any children in the home be 8 and older, as I do tend to spook easily. I am open to possibly living with another dog with proper introduction too. I am not sure how I feel about cats, and heelers do typically have a prey drive, but I may be able to live with one that is confident around dogs, or can easily be kept separate. I am a nervous nelly right now, but with enough treats and TLC I am sure to become a wonderful companion. I hope to meet you soon!
--- If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. We are open daily 12-6pm. --- The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center 848 S. Prince St. Lancaster PA 17603 Kennel #16516 717-917-6979 lancaster@pspca.org
