My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you ready to add a silly, fun loving, and snuggly pooch to your life? Look no further than Pablo! This charming 2 year old mixed breed came to us as a stray who was never claimed by his owner, but that doesn't get him down! This delightful boy is brimming with energy and enthusiasm, and he's eager to find a loving forever home where he can truly shine.

Pablo is a friendly, happy-go-lucky pup who adores human companionship. He truly thinks he is a lap dog, even at 60 pounds, this boy loves to cuddle! Pablo's boundless energy and playful spirit make him a great match for an active household with older kids who can keep up with his zest for life (we think he may accidentally knock smaller children over when playing.) While he may need a bit more training to polish his manners, his sweet nature and eagerness to please will make the process a rewarding one for both him and his new family.

Pablo is also open to the idea of sharing his home with other friendly dogs, though he can be a bit nervous around new canine friends. With a patient, slow introduction and a little time to warm up, Pablo can build lasting friendships and learn to feel more comfortable in the company of other dogs.

Pablo is a happy dog with a heart full of love. He's looking for a caring forever home where he can receive the training and support he needs to become the best version of himself. If you're ready to welcome a joyful, spirited companion into your life, Pablo might just be the perfect fit. Come meet him today and see if he's the furry friend you've been searching for!

Pablo is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. He is ready to go home today!

More about this shelter

Eagle County Animal Shelter and Services handles all of the animal control and animal shelter services for Eagle County. We are a small shelter and are considered socially conscious, which means we are "no-kill" for space. We are always looking for volunteers, foster homes, and item donations. If you are interested in donating to the shelter we have a wish list available that includes lots of items that we use everyday here at our shelter to benefit the dogs and cats directly. Please call us at 970-328-DOGS if you are interested in volunteering. We love to have people come in to socialize our cats and walk and socialize the dogs. Come see us!!
