Sandy Candy is a sweet and playful cat who needs a temporary foster home while she receives treatment for ringworm. She will need a caring environment where her space can be kept clean and separate from other pets during this time. Once cleared, Sandy Candy will be ready to enjoy life in a loving home!
Reason for Foster: Ringworm
Foster Time Frame: 1+ weeks
Foster Care Plan: Sandy Candy is being treated for ringworm which is a fungal skin infection. This can be contagious, so we recommend that they are kept in a room away from other pets and that you are sure to wash your hands or change clothing after interacting with them. A room without carpet or upholstered furniture is recommended.
They will go home with an antifungal medication and will have a recheck with the medical team in 1 week to hopefully be cleared to move forward with their adoption. We will provide a medical consultation at pickup, so you are fully prepared to take great care of this little one.
