Roo was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. He is a cute, friendly and funny puppy who is affectionate and playful! He's athletic and loves to run around and play with toys, but spends much of his time lounging and observing like a shepherd, even at such a young age (5 months old). He must have a tongue too big for his mouth because sometimes it pokes out, especially when he's sleeping. He does well with other dogs, chickens, kids and people of all ages as he loves the attention. Roo is a very curious pup and is always sniffing around and exploring his surroundings. He would love an active lifestyle and to learn some basic training as he is eager to please. He also knows how to use the dog door and quickly caught onto potty training that way. He was fostered with cats for a bit and learned not to chase them, he loves the company of other dogs and loves to romp and roll. He's a great balance of mellow and playful. Roo has also spent many days playing at the dog park and loves to make new friends. Roo is quiet and loves to be near his people, he will put himself up for a nap in his crate and has never made a fuss while being crated. Roo is based in Boise, but is available for direct adoption throughout the PNW with transport included at no extra charge. His adoption fee includes neuter, vaccinations, and microchip.
