Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
He is a happy-go-lucky guy! He does well with dogs of all sizes. Here is a video of him with smaller dogs: https://youtube.com/shorts/sXiHmv8Bweg?feature=share
He made it up to KC on a volunteer transport from Texas so he was in 8 different vehicles and he did great in all of them. :)
He came from one of our rescue partners in Texas.
Basics: He is a neutered male guessed to be around 2 yrs old and weighs close to 42lbs. He is currently being fostered at Woof's Play and Stay in Gladstone, MO
Adoption Process:
- Please fill out our adoption application: https://www.dayofthedogs.org/adoption-application
- One of our team members will get back to you via phone.
- Our dogs can be seen by appointment only. We do not have a facility at this time. Dogs are in foster homes or boarding
- Adoption fee helps to cover transport costs, spay/neuter, initial vaccines, rabies, fecal, initial worming, and microchip.
-We do not place holds on our dogs. Please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt. NOTE: We are very good about updating the pet's profiles once adopted. So no need to write us to ask "Is he/she still available?" If the post is up, the dog is still available.
About Us: Day of the Dogs is a 501c3 nonprofit. Since 2015 we have been dedicated to helping shelters increase live release. We coordinate 2 - 4 transports per month from TX, OK and AR to NW Indiana/Chicagoland and the Kansas City area. We do direct adoptions ourselves out of Kansas City and NW Indiana areas. We also partner with other rescues and shelters in IN, IL, KS and MO that are willing to help southern pets in need. We rely on donations to help fund our ongoing transports. Please donate if you can. Every dollar adds up and we are grateful for any help we can get: https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/DayoftheDogs

Please fill out the application and one of our team members will reach out. NOTE: We do not hold dogs. If you can't meet on the day in which we contact you and want to set a future appointment we can pencil you in. If another family applies, is qualified and can meet the dog sooner we allow that.
