Dakota's little life had such a rough start. He was found in South Carolina as a tiny kitten. Dakota was all alone with no mom or siblings and ended up in a very noisy overcrowded shelter. Luckily, he made it out with several other kittens and found his way to HART! Dakota was very shy upon arrival. It has taken some time for him to feel more comfortable in his foster home, but canned food is the way to his heart! He gets along well with all the kittens and cats he meets (he's best friends with Sammy Boy!), but he still prefers to do things on his own terms when it comes to people. He enjoys pets on the head and is always eager for any meal you're ready to serve. Dakota is such a pretty tabby boy and is seeking a kindhearted person who understands and appreciates earning the love and trust of a cat and how rewarding it is once they feel comfortable enough to come to your lap. Let us know if you'd like to meet him! Thank you for your interest in Dakota! Please visit
