My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Opie is the ultimate. This dog is not only sweet with all humans, but he spoons them at nighttime, snuggles constantly and listens when he is told "no"! He came this way and is only a puppy! He enjoys other animals and is a true buddy dog - would be great with a dog who wants to play and have fun, but also can take time out for a good rest. He will be a fun dog to work with on teaching things, but is so mild mannered and lovely, it won't be because he does bad things! We are working with him on puppy things like inappropriate chewing, but he is learning so quickly and has learned much in his short time in foster care. Neshama Rescue is an all volunteer independent, 501(c)(3) animal welfare and education organization. Our mission is to promote the rescue and adoption of companion animals, with a focus on senior and special needs pets. We believe every soul has intrinsic value and we seek to help communities see that value to create a kinder world. Our goals are to rescue animals from shelters, place them in loving foster homes, and adopt them out to forever homes, as well as strengthen our communities’ education, laws and regulations regarding animal overpopulation and care.
