My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*** Sky is at our Petsmart Aero adoption center. ***

Solid black, short hair, spayed female, born 4/4/24, #19191

Cats: enjoys playmates
Dogs: dubious
Children: great!

BACKGROUND: Amaya was found wandering a San Diego neighborhood where she charmed a family into feeding her. When they were preparing to move, however, they weren't going to be able to take her with them and by then she was pregnant. Concerned about Amaya's future, they sought rescue help and she moved into foster care barely a week before giving birth to six adorable kittens with a wide variety of tail lengths!

PERSONALITY: Happy-go-lucky and full of fun, Sky is a delight! She was the only one of her litter of six to be born with a full standard-length tail to perfectly suit her sleek panther look. She is always on the move, because Sky likes to RUN! Watch out for her, because she'll zoom by so quickly you might miss it and not realize she's gotten somewhere she shouldn't. Sky is sweet and sunny-natured and very friendly.

COMPATIBILITY: Sky has tons of energy and needs lots of playtime and enrichment. She enjoys having other cats around though is also independent-minded. She has met a Chihuahua but was puffily dubious about the canine species, though if given a lengthy introduction to a calm dog she may adapt. Sky did great with her foster's young grandchildren.

Sky is such a sweet and loving kitty... she'll make a great addition to any family. How about yours?
