Meet Sheeba! This pretty girl, along with her two sisters, was part of an unexpected litter that their original owners could not care for. At first the shelter was a very scary place and they spent all their time hiding away. However, it only took a few days for them to come around. Sheeba and her siblings are playful and curious, enjoying exploring and having fun with all their toys. When they aren't having fun, these girls spend their time napping in their raised beds and hammocks. Sheeba is more shy than her siblings, and prefers to hang back when greeting new people. The perfect home for Sheeba would be able to give her the space to acclimate at her own pace and give her the time she needs to fully come out of her shell. Approved applicants will be asked to come to the shelter to meet the dog. (Cats/kittens are at other locations to visit)

Interested in a dog? Please fill out an application at our website, please list dogs name on application or if you don't see one, please list breed/gender you are looking for. (We can place you on a wish list) Once approved we will watch for a dog for you. When we get in animal that might be what you are looking for we will contact you to set up an appointment to meet the pet.

$60 Adoption fee for cats. $100 for kittens. $150 Adoption fee for dogs. $250 for puppies. All potential adopters must complete our Adoption Application.

** Most cats/kittens are located at PetSmart in Utica or PetSmart in Bloomfield Hills, unless noted **

Go meet their pets

Our adoptable cats are located at a PetSmart in Utica, PetSmart in Bloomfield Hills or a PetCo in Roseville. You can visit them at the stores when they are open.

For Dogs we are asking people to fill out an application online to get approved. Applications can be found here: https://macsshelter.org/dog-application. We will schedule a meet and greet of the dog after application approval.

We do take our dogs to different pet stores in the Metro Detroit area on Saturday's. You can visit our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/macs1935) to see where our next dog adoption event will be located. These events start at 11 AM - 2:30 PM.
